Pippa is a documentary and fine art wedding photographer. She specialises in telling a story, and through her experience in documentary photojournalism (Discovery Channel and National Geographic) and documentary television (where she won a BAFTA) she is able to capture the most special moments of your life.
She is inspired by photographers like Annie Leibovitz and Elliot Erwitt for their capacity to capture candid moments and reveal the intimacy of their subjects. Pippa had the honour of photographing Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday celebrations in Hyde Park in 2008.
Ian has extensive experience in photography, film and graphic design and uses this broad knowledge of the visual arts to bring a unique dimension as a wedding photographer at Pippa Mackenzie Photography.
In addition to being the second wedding photographer in the team, Ian is the key designer of our wedding photography books and albums. He uses his skills to create a stunning and unique memory of your wedding day.
Ian’s photographic inspirations are varied, from the wild artistic creativity of Man Ray to the honest realism of Henri Cartier-Bresson. He also draws inspiration from artists such as David Hockney and film makers like Martin Scorsese.
