We have done everything we can to ensure the most complete protection of personal data processed through this website. Contact via the website

Our Contact page uses a form that enables quick and easy electronic contact, as well as direct communication with us via email and phone. Any personal data that you give us using these contact methods will be stored securely and used by us for the sole purpose of contacting you in regards to your enquiry. Any future contact will only be with your express permission.

Comments left on our Blog

Our Blog gives you the opportunity to leave individual comments.

If you leave a comment on one or more of our blog posts, this information is stored and published, as well as information on the date of your comment, your name/pseudonym, email address and if given, your website URL. In addition, the IP address assigned to you by the Internet service provider (ISP) is also logged for security reasons.

How we use your personal data

If you engage our services and become a client we will only use your personal data to enable us to provide a full professional service to you.

We do not share any of your personal data with anyone else unless your are an existing client and have requested third party products be produced (e.g. prints, framed prints, books and albums) and we need to give your contact details for the purpose of delivery. We take every step to ensure that third parties use your personal details in line with the GDPR.

If you become one of our clients we will detail how we may use the photographs we take on social media, our websites and for marketing purposes in a contract that is agreed and signed by both you (the client) and us (Pippa Mackenzie Photography Ltd).

If you become one of our clients and give us express permission to do so we will also add you to a mailing list which is stored on Mailchimp. This is a third party mailing service that allows us to keep you up to date with any new services or offers that we have. Mailchimp’s services are in line with the GDPR and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Retention and Subsequent Erasure of personal data

We will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary. If once you have been in touch, we no longer need to store your data, we will of course delete it. If however you become a client of Pippa Mackenzie Photography Ltd we will need to process and store your information for as long as is necessary.

If you are a client of ours we are required by UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years.
