As well as being a full time professional photographer, Joe makes sure to fill life with his other loves – travel and music. Writing and recording songs is something he has always done and his past projects include releasing records on Wall Of Sound and playing bass whilst touring with Siouxsie Sioux throughout the US and Europe. We’re pretty sure he’s the only wedding photographer to have played on the Jonathan Ross Show and sung to Yoko Ono!
If that wasn’t enough, he’s also a world record holder for ‘The Highest Concert in a Hot Air Balloon’ – soaring above the west country into the Guinness Book Of Records in 2008 with 5 other musicians (and still unbeaten).
Indulging his urge to travel, Joe and his wife, Clair, embarked on a 4-month honeymoon around the world (which he strongly recommends). Two of the many places they visited were Nepal and Cambodia, which are now two of his all time favourite places. Other travel experiences have included a 2-week Tuc Tuc rally in southern India that took Joe from Chennai to Kanyakumari. He raised over £3000 for orphanages in the process.
Joe is a dedicated family man and has passed his love for travel on to his daughter, Juno. They now have their very own Tuc Tuc, which was recently used to for a family adventure, circumnavigating Malta and Gozo.
